How to Handle Critical Condition in Life
Being a movie buff, I often thought, why the pulse monitor in the ICU shows zigzag lines and once the patient is dead, the lines go straight. It was an intriguing question for me, why life is symbolized with zigzag lines.
Zigzag is instability, up and down, causing consistent sensations, that’s how life is. Always changing, throwing new challenges and opportunities. Life throws you a curve ball, when you least expect it . The genuine problem is we set our priorities, once things fall outside the comfort zone. We call it a loss, disguise or critical condition in life. Life is more a mission of survival rather than perk. So, how to handle critical conditions in life?
The solution is to become a frog living in the well. It doesn’t mean a person with limited experience and is only all that exist in the world. It actually means, a guy, who has secured his territories and ready to conquer new borders to stretch its territories. Why not make you well as big as the sea, instead of jumping into the sea for better opportunities.
Not being anymore philosophical, let’s crack down into salient points:-
Live in the present
Suppose you went through a catastrophic series of events completely crumbling you. What should be your next step, either keep slamming the fate or pull up your socks and fight for the present. I guess second option is much more fruitable. Live in the present, past and future existence is dependent on future. You can change your future by changing your present.
Learn from your failures
Failure is just another step towards success. Now you exactly know what not to commit next time. Take failures as lessons, if you won’t commit mistake, you will never evolve. Life is about showing fighting spirit, it is and never was a bed of roses. To smell the aroma of rose, you have to walk through the thorns. It is a universal law.
Identify your strengths and weaknesses
Identify your strengths and weaknesses before taking on any new task or project. We all have flaws and would fail at some point in life. Keep working on your weaknesses and use strengths as a shield to combat hurdles.
Living life to the fullest is the essence of life coaching, already ready for something unexpected.
